Proposed Meeting Minutes July 13th, 2009 |
In Attendance: Mike Motherway, Bruce Cilley, Kristy Blundell, Mike Delsesto, Donna Carter.
1.) Town celebration this Saturday the 18th to be held a the town park from 3pm-10pm. The band and free hot dogs and hamburgers will be starting at 4:30pm. Many children and adult activities are planned throughout the afternoon and evening. Fireworks will wrap up the celebration at 9pm. the concession stand will be open for sale of beverages and snacks. The town celebration is being sponsored by the Recreation Committee. The Park Trust will be donating $500.00 towards the celebration.
2.) The concession stand will now be open from 11am to 8pm.
3.) Turf care update: Nature's Way Land Care will be providing weed control for warning tracks of all ball fields, as well, the aeration that was postponed from June, due to inclement weather, will be completed this week. Down to Earth Landscape will be dragging all warning tracks this Wednesday the 15th.
All Park Trustees vote to continue with current turf care program outlined by PJC organics, being implemented by Nature's Way Land Care and Down to Earth Landscape. Consideration of applying further compost/amendments will be researched and decided on in the fall.
Mike Motherway and Mike Delsesto will be the contact trustees for all turf care and park maintenance.
Down to Earth Landscape, Nature's Way Land Care and JGil Organics will formulate a fertilization treatment plan for the stressed shrubbery and trees. This treatment plan will be broken down shrub by shrub, tree by tree with a proposal and estimate provided to the Park Trust as soon as possible.
4.) Bike rack coming soon.
5.) Bills and financials reviewed and approved.
6.) The Trust voted to remove all utility bills from Mike Delsesto's name.
7.) All construction documents, plans, bills, contracts and any other information pertaining to the construction of the park, were handed over from Mike Delsesto to the town.
8.) Kristy Blundell resigned as a Park Trustee effective July 31st, 2009.
