In attendance:  Mike Motherway, Bruce Ciley, Donna Carter, Mike Delsesto, Kristy Blundell.

1.)  Natures Way Landscaping provided a presentation on organic land care and how they could successfully implement this at the park.  Maintenance specifications will be available to all interested bidders on 2/18/09.  Bid specifications and a request for a three year contract will be submitted to the selectmen at the next selectman's meeting.

2.)  Bills and financials reviewed.

3.)  The town will be working with Seacoast Tree in relation to damage sustained in Decembers ice storm.  Total cost of damage at the park was $25,000.  Reimbursement must go thru the town, the town will then submit to FEMA.

4.) 2009 town budget will include $1000 to go toward 2009 custodial services at the park.

5.)  Frozen pipe in concession stand caused damage in the mens bathroom, the women's bathroom and to tiles in the concession stand.  Pricing and estimates will be obtained.

6.)  Recommendations for EJBL 2009 season were compiled and will be forwarded to Jeff Dickinson and Dave Macek prior to the park trusts next meeting on February 12th, 2009. 

7.)  Dragging of the baseball fields will be included in the 2009 maintenance specifications.

8.)  The Board of Selectmen will discuss the role of the field manager.

9.)  The Board of Selectmen will discuss the request,  made by the recreation committee, to have rec. committee members hold keys to the front gate and the concession stand.

10.)  A difibrillator and a phone will be made available in the bunker by May 31st.  The water spicket that provides filtered water will continue to be available in the bunker.

11.)  All park trust meetings will be posted at sawyerkensingtontrust.org under calendar.

12.)  The trust is researching how to waterproof the bunker walls.  When a plan is formalized the recreation committee will be notified.
