Sawyer Kensington Trustee Meeting
September 8, 2008
In attendance: Mary Jane Solomon, Donna Carter, Bruce Cilley, Michael DelSesto, Mike Motherway
Review of bills and invoices received.
Reviewed working in progress: Backstop, electrical work/sensors on lights, signboards,
Approximately 60’ x 70’ paved area for skateboard park.
Mike M. addressed the process of making Trust documents readily available to the public. The receipts and records of transactions since the inception of the Trust will be brought to Town Hall. Concern was raised that the paperwork be kept in tact. Bookkeeping updates will be provided to Town Hall.
Fundraising subcommittee process was reviewed. Mike D. met with Joanne and Harold this afternoon to outline the initial process and goals.
IRS sent notification about receipt of paperwork for 501(c)3 status. Will notify within 60 days.
Concession stand coordination for the fall was discussed.
Signage or a way to let people know there is a spot reserved was discussed. Mary Jane will put signs on the table for the upcoming birthday party scheduled the same day as the baseball tournament. Will look into signs to notify people sections of the park are reserved for events.
Trails development process was reviewed. More details are needed from the tax map.
Ironed out details for fee waivers. Most of focus is on Kensington youth.
