June 4, 2008
In Attendance: Mike DelSesto, Bruce Cilley, Mary Jane Solomon, Donna Carter, Mike Motherway, John Andreasse, Dave Macek.
Talked about painting the walking path around the play area with a fun theme rather than applying chip seal. Mike DelSesto made a motion to paint the asphalt rather than apply chip seal around the play area. Seconded by Bruce Cilley with all in favor.
Update: Sawyer Field loamed. Will be ready for asphalt next week, dugouts moved, slab on the shed has been poured, as soon as power it available from Unitil, will apply sod. Will need to aerate Sawyer Park at the end season due to compaction, will aerate Sawyer Field prior to sod being installed.
Shopping: Went to Sam’s Club and Alternative Sales to purchase, pots, pans, and condiments and small items for concession stand.
Licensing: Mike M will follow up with DHHS and DES to determine if we can get licenced while public water supply is going through approval.
Unitil – energy calculations and charges need to be clarified.
Mike D. will order 2 concession signs that have removable magnetic strips.
Basic menu was discussed.
3 people expressed interest in working/managing concession stand. It was recommended to ask all to split up the hours for the upcoming tournaments.
Party: Fire Department will cook food for the day. Mike M will look into liability.
