Meeting Minutes
April 23, 2008
In attendance: Bruce Cilley, Mike DelSesto, Donna Carter, Mary Jane Solomon, Mike Motherway
Meeting began at 6:30 at park for a walkthrough. Mike D and Bruce reviewed work completed to date.
Meeting moved to Town Hall at 7pm.
Unitil classification – Unitil has the park listed as a commercial entity and charging based on the commercial rate. Mike M will call to find out if there is any way to adjust this.
Park Signage: The fundraising signage to be hung on the outfield fences was priced and planned. Signs will cost $300 for the first year, then $250 for next year for those who repeat having their sign hung. Special graphics and images will cost $325 to set up.
A sign from the Trust will be made.
The concession stand process still needs to be clarified. Considering we will have less than a full season with the stand open, it is questionable whether it makes sense to hire someone this year or figure out an alternative plan.
The plan is to hire a manager. Everyday through baseball season. 4:30 – 9:00 then a flex schedule on Saturday.
Janitorial Position – Mike M will follow up.
Organic fertilization – will view sites that have been using system. Compare cost of organic/chemical.
